Theater C-Box Controller
Vantage Theatre C-Box is a combination C-Box Controller and TheatrePoint station all in one convenient package. It’s an all-inclusive theater control package perfect for the home theater, classroom or board room, and the most efficient way to introduce third party solutions to automated control.
The C-Box component is the processor of the Vantage system, while the TheatrePoint component automates the audio and video and other third party equipment. Using the Theatre C-Box eliminates the need for independent lighting controllers, contact input stations, IR control stations and other products needed to fully automate a home, consequently saving money for dealers and ultimately the homeowner.
The Theatre C-Box can control lights, movie projectors, audio systems, DVD players, motorized projection screens, window coverings and more. Wall keypads, remote controls, motion sensors, time controls and LCD touch screens can be integrated with the Theatre C-Box. For any situation, the Theatre C-Box is the perfect control solution.
IP Enabler
The Vantage IP Enabler provides Vantage Master Controllers and C-Boxes an Ethernet port. This allows a computer to connect to a Vantage controller through a local area network, or even through the Internet. This allows long-distance master to master communications. It also allows master communications with other third-party Internet protocol devices. With an IP Enabler, both QLink and WebPoint can have high speed access to the Vantage system directly through the IP Enabler’s IP address. This ability can be used to remotely control or program a system.

The IP Enabler comes in a standard form, or with an embedded Vantage Portal, which provides a communications bridge between the Vantage system and the Vantage Designer Toolbox.

Dimmer Module
|

The Vantage Standard Dimmer Module controls dimmable loads including incandescent, some fluorescent lighting, magnetic low voltage, some electronic low voltage, neon, cold cathode and variable speed motors. With its eight-load, 40-amp capacity, this module provides smooth dimming over long fade times.
Fuse protected line feeds safeguard the module from shorted loads. In the event of a short, the module would remain intact and only the included fuse would need to be replaced. Additionally, each module is self powered which allows connected lights to stay lit even if the Master Controller is removed.
Each module is designed to easily plug into a Vantage enclosure. All AC wiring is terminated into screw terminal connectors behind the module fitting in the enclosure. This feature allows the Standard Dimmer Module to quickly clip into place after the building has been finished, eliminating the potential for damage during construction.

|
|
|
|
Relay Module
|
The Relay Module provides relay functions on eight individual load channels. Every load is controlled by a high voltage relay and is powered by two loads per 20 Amp circuit breaker. Two Relay Modules are available. One module features control for 120V and another controls 277V.

Each module is designed to easily plug into a Vantage Enclosure. All AC wiring is terminated into screw terminal connectors within the enclosure. This feature allows the Relay Module to be installed after the building has been finished, eliminating the potential for damage during construction. The relay also features zero-cross switching technology to minimize the wear on the electrical contacts and increase the life of the module.

Scene Point Dimmer

The Vantage ScenePoint is a standard wall box dimmer that also connects to the Vantage system. It is powered by the local line feed, and replaces a standard high voltage wall switch. ScenePoint dimmers feature a 600–2000 watt at 120V and 1200-4000 watt at 240V dimmer (single gang to four gang) that connects to high voltage wiring within the box for local lighting control. It also connects to the Vantage system with two-way communication for centralized control of the lighting circuit via RadioLink (a wireless RF control network) or the traditional two-wire station bus.
In existing structures RadioLink ScenePoint dimmer stations quickly install in the place of standard light switches without running new wires. ScenePoint dimmers, with or without RadioLink, will fit the needs of any new construction projects. Either way, ScenePoint dimmers allow for incremental expansion of a system to accommodate almost any design or budget.
TheatrePoint
|
Vantage’s TheatrePoint is a companion to the C-Box or Master Controller which integrates the home theater into the whole-home automation system. TheatrePoint can control virtually any device in the home theater using previously programmed keypads, remote controls, touch screens and time controls from the C-Box or Master Controller.
TheatrePoint eliminates the need for independent lighting controllers, contact input stations, IR control stations and other products needed to fully automate a home, consequently saving money for dealers and ultimately the homeowner. TheatrePoint keeps all of your devices in sync using six current sensing outlets, which allow the Vantage system to know whether an audio video device is on or off.
TheatrePoint simply places you in control of your home theater. With a push of a button you can control your movie projector, audio system, DVD player, motorized projection screen, window coverings and more. TheatrePoint is an ideal solution for home theater control.

Infrared Emitter
The Infrared Emitter Station (IRX) allows many different components to be controlled on the Vantage system. Signals are sent from the station though emitters to control infrared (IR) devices such as DVD and CD players, stereo receivers, televisions and more.
Keypads, remotes, sensors and more, can be programmed to actuate components connected to the IRX. When a button is pressed or motion is detected a signal is sent through the Vantage system to the IRX which in turn sends a command to the appropriate device.
Vantage software contains a large library of IR codes to easily facilitate the integration of new products through the IRX. An IR learner is also available to learn and store additional codes

Light Point Sensor
|
The LightPoint Sensor helps maintain constant lighting levels by measuring light in a specific area and conveying the information to the Vantage system. With this information the Vantage system adjusts fixture outputs to maintain desired light levels. Programming for time controls, buttons, etc. may be automatically adjusted depending upon light measured by the LightPoint Sensor.
The Vantage LightPoint Sensor can also act as a photocell to turn lights on or off to a preset level of light. In some cases (business signs, outside security lights, corridors and more) lighting is desired during overcast or cloudy conditions and not just at dusk or dawn. With the Vantage LightPoint Sensor, an outdoor company sign that turns on at dusk will also illuminate during heavy cloud cover.
